About Grindelwald

Grindelwald sits at 1,034 m in the Bernese Oberland. The Eiger Express gondola runs from Grindelwald directly to Eigergletscher on the Jungfrau Railway, and another gondola climbs to the Männlichen.

The skiing

There are two separate areas. Grindelwald-Wengen (Kleine Scheidegg–Männlichen), with 103 km of pistes, is the largest ski area in the Jungfrau Region. First, on the other side of the valley, has about 49 km of slopes and tops out at about 2,500 m.
