About Megève

Megève grew as a ski resort in the 1920s. In 1921 Baroness Noémie de Rothschild opened the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois hotel, which helped the resort develop.

Its skiing runs from 1,113 m to 2,350 m. The Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area links Megève with Saint-Gervais, Combloux, La Giettaz and Les Contamines-Montjoie, with more than 400 km of slopes.
